Pregnancy and postpartum care.

We listen and provide targeted help.

The greatest gift for your baby is to let them develop in a harmonious environment. Our colleague Hanka always says, “When the mother is at ease, the baby is too.” By taking care of yourself, you help yourself, your baby, and your entire family. We prepare your body for childbirth so that it can become one of the most beautiful moments of your life. You’ll learn how to properly exercise your abdomen after birth to prevent diastasis. By treating the scar from a cesarean section, we can prevent a range of complications. For more information, see the article Scar After Cesarean Section. The article Pregnancy from the Perspective of a Physiotherapist answers the question of how a woman’s body changes during pregnancy.

Infertility.

Functional Female Sterility: A Problem in the Musculoskeletal System.

Physiotherapy increases the likelihood of natural conception, a smooth pregnancy, and childbirth. Through non-invasive methods, we relieve muscle tension, eliminate unnecessary joint blockages, and correct posture and breathing patterns. This improves blood circulation and the function of the abdominal organs and pelvic floor. Targeted physiotherapy enhances the success of natural conception as well as artificial insemination, including intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in vitro fertilization (IVF)*. Diastasis.

THE MOST COMMON POSTPARTUM COMPLICATION.

Diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles is most commonly seen in clients after childbirth. After such a significant strain, it’s no surprise. They often complain about the appearance of their belly (which doesn’t shrink much), the inability to properly engage muscles, and usually also about back pain. Digestive issues are also frequently associated with diastasis. There are many reasons why diastasis occurs, and not everyone benefits from the commonly recommended exercises for the oblique abdominal muscles. We will advise you on the approach that’s right for you. For more information, see the article Diastasis of Abdominal Muscles During and After Pregnancy.

Painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea).

Managing It Without Pills.

If you suffer from monthly pain that reduces your ability to work, this is not a normal condition. Any accompanying pain, whether it be headaches, back pain, or lower abdominal pain, is not natural for a healthy woman’s body. The pain often originates in the musculoskeletal system. Physiotherapy focused on the abdominal area, pelvic floor, or tailbone often provides lasting relief*. More interesting information on this topic can be found in the article Painful Menstruation (Dysmenorrhea) Is Not Normal.
